HMT's registry follows patients from the first finding, through the clinical decision, to the outcome, across the health systems they pass through.

The opportunity

## Prospective by construction.

Retrospective registries are assembled after the fact, usually at a single institution. Because HMT's software meets the patient at the moment a finding is made, the record is prospective from the start.

That opens questions that are hard to answer today: how long patients wait between a concerning finding and a specialist, where they are lost, and what happens to patients with rare cancers such as appendiceal and low-grade mucinous tumors.
