Cytoreductive surgery (CRS)
Surgery to remove as much visible tumor as possible from the abdomen, often combined with HIPEC.
An operation to remove all visible tumor from the abdominal cavity, which can include removing parts of organs and the peritoneum. For selected patients with cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen, it is often combined with HIPEC.
